Bio

I am a native of Georgia. I am married and have three children.

I was Teacher of the Year 2000-2001 at Jones Wheat Elementary School Bainbridge, GA, 2011-2012 Staff of the Year at Decatur Grady Head Start Climax, GA, and 2017-2018, 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year at Chattahoochee Elementary School.

My current certifications are:

State of Florida Professional Educator in Elementary Education (Grades K-6) and Educational Media Specialist (Grades PK-12)

State of Georgia Professional Educator in Early Childhood Education (Grades P-5), Middle Grades (4-8) Language Arts, and Middle Grades (4-8) Social Science
