I began substitute teaching in 1994 and in 2000 I began teaching fulltime. I have taught kindergarten, sixth grade, fourth grade, first grade, and currently second grade.

I am a life-long resident of Chattahoochee, having graduated from Chattahoochee Elementary School and Chattahoochee High School.  I attended Florida State University, graduating with a B.S. in Criminology. I attended Florida A & M University to attain teacher certification. I am reading endorsed. I have been teaching in Gadsden County for 16 years. I recently completed my Master's degree.

I am married and have one daughter.  I have a thirst for knowledge and consider myself a life long learner.  Sharing what I know with my students is a joy for me.

I enjoy going to church, reading, traveling and relaxing when I get the chance.
